Who I am

An amateur cook. A storyteller. Not Peruvian enough to be considered a foreigner, yet raised in Peru long enough to have found a helpful perspective on life. I love my wife Stephanie, my two daughters, and my amazing friends. In fact, life is al dente when all of them come together around good food. I was formerly a small groups pastor on staff for ten years at a large suburban church where I helped build community. Now as one of the pastors of Bloom, a new church plant in St. Paul, I love to embrace others as I watch this community form organically. The spread of good things is what my life is about.
